OVERVIEW: eduroam guest wireless network

The eduroam network allows roaming of users from multiple Universities using shared credentials.  If a user from another University uses eduroam here at Clemson then they are placed on a guest network.  This network allows internet access, but not access to internal Clemson resources.

Students who setup eduroam at another University may still have their eduroam connection configured for the other University preventing access to Clemson resources.  This will prevent access to resources such as network drives, CCIT Software Center, and Paw Prints.

You can tell which network you are on by viewing your IP address and comparing to the below table.

IP Range 198.21.128.1-198.21.143.254
Subnet 198.21.128.0
Network Mask 255.255.240.0
Default Gateway 198.21.128.1

To correct this problem you need to forget/remove your eduroam connection and reconnect.  Connection information is located at HOW TO: Connect to eduroam, the Clemson University Wireless Network
