Re-Enable Windows Store on Domain joined machines

If your Clemson machine is domain joined and the Windows store is not working, please open the registry and edit this value:

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key path: SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
Value name: DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 0

Once you have changed the registry value run Command Prompt, type in services.msc,  scroll down to Windows Update,  click stop, click start, and close.  Then try downloading from the store again.

This should allow you to download programs from the Windows store for the next 90 minutes until Group Policy checks in again.

If the reg key changes back, you will need to repeat the previous steps to allow programs to be installed.

Any time you need to install a Microsoft App from the store, you will need to complete these steps first.
