Disabling PopUp Blockers

There are some times when you may need to manually allow pop-ups. Most browsers block them by default, however sites such as the HR Self Service page use pop-ups to display forms and PDFs. If you do not have them enabled, you may try to click on a link, and it will appear that nothing has happened. To fix this, you must enable pop-ups temporarily, or enable them for the specific site you are on. To do so, please see the following instructions for each browser below:

Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95472?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker-settings-exceptions-troubleshooting#w_pop-up-blocker-settings (click the pop-up blocker settings link)

Internet Explorerhttps://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17479/windows-internet-explorer-11-change-security-privacy-settings (click the section for pop-up blocker)

Safari:

  1. select “Safari” > “Preferences“.
  2. Click on “Security” at the top of the window.
  3. Check the box “Block pop-up windows” to enable this feature. Uncheck it to disable it.
