There are several instances in which your computer could freeze while running the Respondus Lockdown browser. Some examples include: If you close out of the browser incorrectly and then shut down your computer via the power button to reset it, the Respondus Lockdown feature may be missing or blocked after. A similar issue may happen if you power down your computer while the Browser is running. To fix this, follow the steps listed below.
- Restart Respondus LockDown Browser.
- Exit the program properly (click the "X" in the top right corner).
- Then go to Start, Log Off to complete the process.
