What are my next steps?
- Check (and update if necessary) your mailing address on the ‘Addresses’ section of your profile on my.clemson.edu.
- Watch for the USPS mailer that will be sent to your home address of record.
- Your HR-PIN will be sent in a secure, sealed mailer.
- Secure your HR-PIN like a password. Never provide it to anyone via email.
- Your HR-PIN replaces the requirement of providing your birth date and zip code, and you will use it when prompted by CUBS HR.This is an additional step provided by a team of university experts who are implementing a series of strategic responses to cyber-attacks that have targeted schools throughout the United States.

For added cyber security, your birthdate and zip code were replaced by a six-digit HR-PIN number. This number must remain secure, just like you would secure a password. Cybercriminals are getting more and more creative, and this is one measure among a series of measures that the University is undertaking to ensure the University and its faculty, staff and students remain secure.
If you have lost or forgotten your HR-PIN, call ITHELP@clemson.edu or (864) 656-3494. Members of the CCIT Support Center will verify your identity before they will give you your HR-PIN number.

Hardcopies are available. Contact ASK-HR / 864-656-2000 and the Payroll Office will print you a hardcopy to pick up in the Administrative Services Building, 108 Perimeter Rd., Clemson, SC.
