Where is the Dashboard in Canvas?

The Dashboard is your landing page in Canvas, and it displays course cards for all your favorite courses. The Dashboard also contains global announcements from your institution, a global activity stream that shows recent activity in your courses, and a sidebar. The Dashboard will be the first thing you see when you log in to Canvas, but you can always navigate back to the Dashboard by clicking Dashboard in the Global Navigation Menu. Why isn't my Canvas course listed on My Dashboard?

Is it near the beginning of the semester? Check with your professor. The course may not be published yet.  If that is not the issue read below.

Your course favorites will display on your Dashboard. To set your course favorites, click on Courses in the Global Navigation Menu, then click on All Courses. Next, click the star next to the course that you would like to see in your Dashboard. This link describes how to use the Global Navigation Menu as a student.
