Using Gmail in a separate email client
Several available email clients and associated configuration settings are available.
When configuring POP or IMAP access, be sure to enter in your full Google Apps for Education email address as the user name. For example, a user name would be firstname.lastname@example.org instead of wildcat.
Before setting up a Client that uses IMAP, you should turn IMAP on in your Google Mail. Go to Settings, Forwarding and POP/IMAP, Enable IMAP.
