How do I link my account to the Clemson Alexa Skill?

SUMMARY

This article explains how you can link your Clemson account to the Clemson Alexa Skill. Before you begin, ensure that you have already enabled the skill


There are two ways to link your account:

  • Using the Alexa mobile app (preferred)
  • Using the Amazon website


USING THE ALEXA MOBILE APP

  1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
  2. Open the menu using the button in the top-left corner.
  3. Choose Skills & Games from the menu that appears.
  4. Tap Your Skills in the top-right corner.
  5. Choose Clemson University from the list. You may have to scroll down to find it
  6. Tap the blue Settings button on the left side.
  7. Tap Link Account on the right side.
  8. Log in using your Clemson credentials at the prompt.
  9. Once you see the message "Clemson University has been successfully linked," you can close the Alexa app.
  10. Now you can use authenticated features of the Clemson Alexa Skill!

USING THE AMAZON WEBSITE

  1. Navigate to the settings page of the Clemson University skill: https://alexa.amazon.com/spa/index.html#skills/dp/B07NGJ4HFP/settings
  2. If prompted to log in with your Amazon account:
    • Log in using your Amazon account credentials.
    • Click the link above to navigate back to the settings page.
  3. Tap the Link Account button on the right side.
  4. Log in using your Clemson credentials at the prompt.
  5. Once you see the message "Clemson University has been successfully linked," you can close the browser.
  6. Now you can use authenticated features of the Clemson Alexa Skill!
