How do I enable Clemson Alexa Skill?

SUMMARY

This article explains how you can enable the Clemson Alexa Skill on your Alexa-enabled device. There are a few ways to do this, outlined below:

  • By voice using your Alexa-enabled device
  • Using the Alexa app on your mobile device
  • Using the Amazon website on any device


ENABLING BY VOICE

The easiest way to enable the Clemson Alexa Skill is to just ask Alexa!

Say "Alexa, enable Clemson University" to your Alexa-enabled device.
Now you can use the skill on your Alexa-enabled devices! To get started, say "Alexa, open Clemson University."


ENABLING USING THE ALEXA APP

  1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
  2. Open the main menu using the More button in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Choose Skills & Games from the menu that appears.
  4. Click the search icon in the top-right corner.
  5. Search for Clemson University.
  6. Find Clemson University in the list of results.
  7. Tap Enable to Use and follow the prompts.
  8. Now you can use the skill on your Alexa-enabled devices! To get started, say "Alexa, open Clemson University."

ENABLING USING THE AMAZON WEBSITE

  1. Search for Clemson University Alexa Skill on the Amazon website, or navigate to this address:
    https://amazon.com/Clemson-University/dp/B07NGJ4HFP
  2. Make sure that you are on the correct skill page before proceeding.
  3. Press the Enable button and follow the prompts. You may be asked to sign in to your Amazon account first.
  4. Now you can use the skill on your Alexa-enabled devices! To get started, say "Alexa, open Clemson University."
