OVERVIEW: Paw Prints Mobile

Mobile printing is available to all current users of Paw Prints. You can submit jobs from any active email account - just send an email to Paw Prints Mobile - or you can access the online Print Center page to upload documents directly to the CCIT Lab Printers queue.

To access the online system, go to www.clemson.edu/onlineprinting . Here, you will log in with your normal Clemson username and password (same as used for iRoar). You can then upload documents. Any documents you upload are sent to the CCIT Lab Printers queue, no need to click a "Print" button or log in each time.

The rest of the guide will focus on the email method. If your email includes an attachment, the attachment will be submitted as a print job. If your email has no attachment, the body of the email will be submitted as a print job. See below for supported attachment types.

If you've never submitted from an email account before, you'll first get a registration email from printme@clemson.edu. Registration is a one-time process for each account you submit jobs from. FYI, Jobs submitted via Paw Prints Mobile can only be printed on a standard format printer - i.e. plots/posters cannot be submitted this way.

You can send print job submissions to one of three Paw Prints Mobile accounts:

printme@clemson.edu
Emails and email attachments sent to this address will format your print jobs in a one-sided format.

Black and white is $0.05 for every page and $0.10 for two pages, since the pages are one-sided. Color is $0.10 for every page and $0.20 for two pages.

This email can print both either black and white or color jobs, although a color job must be released from a color printer in order to be printed in color. If a color job is printed from a black and white printer, it will be black and white and you will be charged the normal black and white price. If a black and white job is printed from a color printer, it will be black and white and you will be charged the normal black and white price.

Your job will now be available at any release station. To preview your job, check your balance, delete jobs, or upload a print job via the web, click on the link included in your confirmation email to go to the MyPrintCenter web interface. Log in with your Clemson University username and password.
